Remember the computer geeks parodied on Saturday Night Live? You know, the snarky ones who sneered every time someone needed help or asked a question? The geeks who speak an entirely different language and then look down on you because you don’t understand?

Well, Tim Hurley is exactly the opposite! He’s attentive, cheerful, always ready with a suggestion or solution and he speaks in a language even newbie website users can comprehend. He spends time asking you what your needs and goals are and then gets to work to make it a reality.

Tim and I used to work together at Court TV and when he contacted me to (politely) tell me my home-grown website should be replaced I was skeptical. Would it be worth the money just to showcase my work? Now that I have my new site I can honestly say YES!

Tim designed a custom site for me using Word Press and I was astonished to see that he got it up and running, transferring over all my content in about a week! His step-by-step tutorial makes it easy for me to manage the content. I’m now proud of my internet presence and consider it my “Internet calling card” a one stop shopping place where potential clients can read my weekly crime and justice column, download my bio, sample my voiceover and television demo reels and get a professional impression of who Diane Dimond is.

Since Tim I don’t have to apologize for my website anymore!

When friends and colleagues encouraged me to create a website I was skeptical. I had seen plenty of other real estate sites and was unimpressed. Many looked like cookie cutouts designed on the cheap. They had no character or sense of style and, in a word, looked amateur.

Enter Tim Hurley. Having worked with Tim on other projects I knew him to be both creative and passionate about his work. He is an excellent writer and has a gift for marrying the written word to the visual. He’s also perfectionist when it comes to detail.
So, I gave him a shot and his creation, myinwood.net, exceeded my wildest expectations. When he was finished he had actually created a vehicle that captured my personality. I can’t tell you how much positive feedback I’ve received since MyInwood.net launched.

While always available when I have questions, and believe me, this is all quite new to me, Tim has taught me to be more or less self sufficient when it comes to adding elements to my website on my own. After all, it is my website and I enjoy having the ability to make changes to the site myself.

I personally vouch for his work and am eternally grateful for his role in giving myself and my business and on-line presence I can be proud of.

Client: Trisha Posner - Author, Columnist - The Miami Herald

For a long time, I was in denial about my old website, trying gamely to convince myself that it really was the right web presence for my articles, books, and lectures. Sometimes I mustered up the energy to actually call some web designer recommended by a friend, but every time we either had no ‘connection,’ or their suggestions for a site redo were both mundane and wildly expensive (don’t they get it, I’m in print, the poor end of the entertainment business).
Then my husband, the author Gerald Posner, came across Diane Dimond’s site and loved it. When I saw it, I was also very impressed. It was in the style (not knowing a thing about Wordpress at the time) for which I had been searching. There was something static and old-fashioned about my old click and play site, and Diane’s with its blog resemblance seemed much more modern.
That’s when Tim came in. I finally made the plunge and we had a chat. I was sold on him from the first conversation. There was nothing technical in our talk, but instead we spoke about the style and feel I wanted, the colors (unique) and the layout, and he just simply ‘got it.’ For Tim, what I wanted was so different than what he had done previously that he had to think completely out of the box. But he did it with a virtuoso mastery. Tim had my new site up and running in no time, and as he tweaked it each time it just kept getting better. He was totally receptive to my ideas, and always knew how to take some unformed thought of mine and turn it into reality.
I never imagined that I could be as excited about having my web site redone, and it’s totally due to Tim’s effortless mastery. Now, my hard to persuade husband is so impressed he’s going to have Tim redo his site early next year. So I think you will see the 2nd half of the Posner team posting some more praise for Tim very soon.
Thanks Tim. You’re the best!
