He’s Got the Whole World - On his Shoulders…

by Tim on November 18, 2008

Did you know that your head which typically weighs 9 to 17 pounds is held on by a 2-ounce bone? Its a lot of work for the C-1 vertebra or “Atlas Bone” as it is also known as. And if you have friends like mine, you have a lot of sympathy for that little sucker… But that’s only part of it. Dr. Patrick Kerr, Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist has a huge weight on his shoulders. He’s one of only a few B.C.A.O’s in the New York metropolitan area. That’s a lot of heads to straighten out. Hudson Moon Productions aims to get the word out with his new website, DoctorKerr.Net.

You see, the Atlas bone does a lot more than keep your head on straight. The alignment of the bone affects the entire body, especially the spine. Misalignment can cause back and shoulder trouble, headaches, even hypertension and high blood pressure. So I built him a website that would educate, inform and be easy to find.

Yet the work has really only just begun. You see Dr. Kerr has developed a revolutionary protective collar for football players. This collar has been tested against others used in college and the NFL and been proven to provide better protection against minor and even catastrophic injuries. You can view the study and high-speed video of the collar tests on Dr. Kerr’s web site. Look for an e-commerce section featuring this collar and more of Dr. Kerr’s high-tech neck-saving accessories coming soon.

But let’s not bury the lede here - You can catch Dr. Kerr’s appearance on the nationally syndicated show, “The Doctors” on November 25th. Check your local listings.

**UPDATE: The show was fantastic but they completely forgot to mention Dr. Kerr’s website. No Problem - The viewers found us anyway. Over 1,100 people viewed over 10,000 pages in a single day! That’s Search Engine Optimization for you!

I’d like to wish Doctor Patrick Kerr great success with his new website, his practice and welcome him to the Hudson Moon family of innovative and user-friendly Internet Publishing Platforms.

You can visit DoctorKerr.net right here.

Big thanks to his wonderful office manager and my collaborator, Ann Hallissey! :)
